What is Six Pack of Otters?
- Six Pack of Otters is a comic book revolving around a fighting squad of six, aptly named 'Six Pack of Otters.' The main character (at least for now) is Polo, a kid fresh out of high school and still trying to figure out just who he is and what the hell he's doing here... even if he doesn't quite know it yet!
There is no specific genre for the comic - it's a bit of everything. Some comedy, some violence, a bit of sex here and there, gobs of angst and drama, and even some good old-fashioned romance.

Why otters? Why not humans?
- I like otters! "Six Pack of Puppies" didn't quite sound right, either. So otters it is!

Okay, so is Tuamao hot for Polo? What's with the hearts everywhere?
- Tuamao does not have a crush on Polo. Tua sees Polo more as a little brother if anything. They are just friends.
The hearts are used as a symbol to indicate an affectionate tone of voice. (This doesn't necessarily mean affection as in love-love.) Of course, just because you're using an affectionate tone doesn't mean you're actually BEING affectionate, either - you can be acting all nicey-nice and sweet and loving, but actually be being completely mean.

Is (insert character name here) gay?
- No.

Are you SURE (character of choice) isn't gay?? Because (character) sure does seem gay to me!!
- Yes, I am sure.

What's all this about screentones?
- Screentones are, traditionally, patterns printed onto a piece of paper with a sticky side, like a patterned sticker. You cut out the shape you want from the paper, peel the sticky back off, and stick it onto your comic page. Screentones can vary, from shading to texture to even full background images.
Digital screentones, though, are basically just images in a pattern that you can add into your page with just about any paint-type program, using the same basic principle.

Where do you get your screentones from?
- I ordered some online and did them the traditional way for a page or two (read: I stabbed myself repeatedly with an exacto knife and flipped out after I bled on a page) before I started adding them digitally. I scanned what I bought from them, but have also saved the little preview images they have on the site and use some of those. Check out these awesome links for fantastic screentones:
